  • Then add the vanilla, salt, egg, and egg yolk. They should be added at the same time and mix until the whole lot is combined.
Add the flour, potato starch, and baking powder and milk then blend it in until you notice the batter has no visible streaks of dry flour within.
  • Chill the dough for 1 to two hours in the refrigerator. After the time-lapse, you can use it for scooped and dropped cookies also.
  • If you want to slice and bake cookies, you’ll want to form the dough into a log and wrap it in plastic wrap before chilling.
  • Roll the dough between two sheets of parchment paper—purpose for ⅛-inch thickness. Use 2 to few-inch cookie cutters to shape. I find it excellent to dip the cookie cutters in the flour so they don’t persist with the dough.

Be sure you mix the flour perfectly. The usage of an excessive quantity of flour may have a feeble result on the cookie’s texture. I mainly advise using the recommended dosage of peanut oil or butter; the buttery taste naturally sparkles in this formula and gives it a more enjoyable taste, the choice is yours!
In Italian cuisine, we habitually use genuine vanilla, but you can use any type you have. The imitation stuff isn’t the same on the subject of flavor.
