  • 150 gr fresh cherry tomatoes
  • 500 gr of the Bacons cut them into pieces
  • ½ tsp peperocini
  • 80 gr of the shredded radicchio
  • 250 gr of the bocconcini mozzarella
  • 80 gr of the shredded rocket
  • 2 tbsp of the extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp of lemon juice to taste
  • ½ of teaspoon of the balsamic vinegar
  • ½ Onion
  • a pinch of salt

Instructions

The best Italian salad recipe

  • Take a non-stick pan, add olive oil, let them heat up, then add the bacon pieces and cook them for about 5 minutes until it changes its color and turns into golden brown and crispy.
  • Then add a pinch of salt, lemon juice, chili powder, and balsamic vinegar. Stir them to combine well and then transfer them to the salad bowl
  • Thereafter add the chopped rocket, shredded radicchio, and cherry tomatoes. Stir them all together to make them absorb the taste of the stir-fry bacon.
  • Transfer them to the salad bowl and then top with the bocconcini mozzarella.
  • Now combine the rest of the ingredients with the salad and bacon and mix well to have a homogeneous flavor.
  • Immediately serve the best Italian salad recipe with a sprinkle of olive oil.

Notes

We have used the bacon in this salad, but you can replace the bacon with chicken, salmon, egg, or even cheese if you are a protein-conscious person. Other than this, you can replace the bocconcini mozzarella with Greek yogurt and some dried nuts to give a crunchy flavor to your salad.
